Engineer Hossein Zadeh in an interview with news unit of ICT Ministry’s Information and Public Relations Center and saying this news, informed that: the congress of “Communication and Information Technology and the Role of Source Laboratories in Region Development” was held by presence of Engineer Sharif Zadeh, ICT Ministry’s deputy of Management Development, the province high rank officials, professors, experts and university students in Sahand University’s Amphitheatre. He said that this agreement has been signed according to these rules: the “L” Article of 3th rule of ICT Ministry’s authorities, 2nd Article of 6th charter of Regulatory Organization and the guideline for communication facilities prototypes confirmation approved by regulatory commission. Every communication, information technology and telecommunication facilities which import formally and pass through customs must confirm by these laboratories, he added. Hosein Zadeh also mentioned that until now we have 7 laboratories which their activity licenses have issued by Communication and Information Technology Ministry and Regulatory Organization. He believes that Eastern Azarbayjan is an industrial province and said: all ICT facilities must pass the necessary tests and get the related environmental, security, functioning and efficiency licenses according to their use in EMS (Electromagnetic Compatibility). Hossein Zadeh also talked about variety of capabilities in Eastern Azarbayjan province in telecommunication and customs affairs and asserted that Prototype Confirmation Laboratory will establish for the first time in the province. In this agreement is emphasized on implementing the presented thesis and making connection with communication and information technology industry and telecommunication centers. Eastern Azarbayjan Communication and Information Technology said: “this action is for easing customs affairs and accelerating the process of confirming communication, telecommunication and information technology facilities and considered as a big move in scientific improvement and making connection between industry and scientific environments in the region. He named joining Science, Research and Industry as a main factor of Eastern Azarbayjan development and declared that: performing joint research works with Sahand Industry University, protecting knowledge based companies and commercializing research results are such other goals tracked by signing this agreement. At the end, Hossein Zadeh emphasized that Eastern Azarbayjan ICT General Direction Office invites other private sections to invest on Information Technology and Communications prototype confirmation laboratories establishment and supply them.
