P.R of ICT Ministry – Dr. Mohammad Karam Pour, ICT Minister's deputy of Technology and International Affairs said that this policy if followed as one of ICT ministry strategies that taken into consideration in order to impress and managing international ICT zone. Accordingly, in the 36th Session of ATP Managing Committee, Engineer Pourang Nia (Iran representative) has appointed as the head of this committee with the maximum number of members votes. Mohammad Karam Pour about the importance of this committee said that ATP Managing Committee is one the most important decision makers and plays important role in Pacific and Asia Telecommunication Society which has 38 members. Managing and organizing ATP telecommunication society, tacks and proper implantation of the defined plans are some of the duties which this committee is obliged to do. Also investigating the subjects of ATP Telecommunication Society sessions and different educational workshops are some of the other duties of this committee, he continued. ICT minster’s deputy referred holding of universal Standard Meeting of International Distant Communication Union in Emirates and said: in this meeting with the efforts made, Iran representative was appointed as one the four major deputies of the sessions. Also most of our proposals and reformed proposals which presented in different committees have been approved by the members, he emphasized.
