Information Technology Organization Head informs: National Intelligent Card is one of the substructures for Electronic Government

National Intelligent Card is considered as one of Electronic Government substructures which we hope that with signing the agreement between ICT Ministry and National Organization for Civil Registration reach in the operating level as soon as possible.

Public Relations Department reported – Eng. Ali Hakim Javadi the head of Iran Information Technology Organization in this session said that using operative utilities in different sections is one of our goals for implementing National Intelligent Card, because this project is considered as one of the Electronic Government substructures. The deputy of Communications minister pointed at the close cooperation between ICT Ministry and National Organization for Civil Registration and asserted that codifying the guideline of the “D” article of the 46th subject of the 5th Development Plan is implemented as the result of this cooperation. According to this guideline, creating informative and communicative substructures for implementing National Intelligent Card is one of duties defined for the ministry which are implemented now, he continued. There have been close connection between CT Ministry and National Organization for Civil Registration for programming and inaugurating this project, Eng. Hakim Javadi said. He added that some other organizations have hands in this projects which further cooperation is necessary in this section. He Pointed at National Information Network and said: creating this section necessary legal and physical substructures and one of the duties defined for ICT ministry and through this the necessary ground for all sections activity got provided. Also In the 5th Development Plan all the appliances for implementing National Information are completely considered and for this, some guidelines have been drafted and ratified by the government ministers such as sharing information, he continued. The head of Iran Information Technology said that 92 agreements have been signed between this organization and other ones, universities and knowledge based companies; he added that these agreements are reached the operational level via using the maximum Iranian capacities and talents for implementing ICT ministry large projects especially in National Information Network sections.
