PR of the Ministry of ICT, Ali Hakim Javadi, Deputy Minister at the press conference in the sixth major national conference on economic and e- commerce said: "According to the fifth development plan, all public organizations' networks should be formed and connected to the National Information Network till the end of the current year ".
"The conditions will be prepared for economic and e-commerce development by implementing this project", he added.
Ali Hakim Javadi pointed to IT role in all areas and emphasized:" information technology has an important role in economy and e-commerce".
"Therefore, some important factors have been pointed in foreign and domestic commerce based on 14 separate indicators considered for IT development", he said.
Head of Iran IT organization pointed to the importance of information technology and professional conferences which has been hold in various fields such as e-commerce and economy and continued: "such conferences can play an important role to exchange the information between academics, researchers and activists in this area".
He emphasized that two conferences had been held in the field of "technical and communication infrastructure" and "security and trust" by Ministry of ICT.
"According to the studies, 30 percent of the impact related to infrastructure development of e- commerce has been allocated to technical and communication issues", he continued.
Deputy Minister of ICT pointed to the importance of security in information technology in all sectors and said:" Network and infrastructure generally is divided into five layers, and security must be considered in all these sectors".
He added that the security industry in the field of information technology cannot be imported from the foreign countries, so extensive efforts have been made by the Ministry of ICT.
Ali Hakim Javadi pointed to National Information Network and said:" some necessary measures have been provided to access the information and also the conditions prepared for creating the information".
"Therefore, the required domestic information will be exchanged through this network and the rest needs be provided through the global Internet", he continued.
