PR of the Ministry of ICT, Lotfollah Saboohi, Deputy of technical investigations and license issuance in CRA said:" It's necessary for mobile operators to inform about the services properly, and ask for the subscriber's agreement before and then the confirmation, to avoid the troubles resulting from the information and commercial messages and also observe the private limits".
"The needed mechanisms should be defined from the operators, to provide some cases for the subscribers such as timetable of the mass messages, the kind of the industry that the received messages are from and etc ", he added.
He said that these were for observing the mobile subscriber's rights and emphasized:" sending the commercial messages with different subjects created dissatisfaction for the people, so organizing this matter as well as observing the subscriber's rights should be considered by the operators".
"All mobile operators should coordinate their executive procedures with CRA and it should have double control in this matter", Saboohi continued.
He emphasized:" some cases such as sorting the commercial messages and informing about the messages which has cost for the subscribers, such as competitions' SMS, should be controlled by the operators".
