Dr. Reza Taghipour: Clean Internet is one of the main concerns in ICT area

Removing the black spot in internet network is a burning issue in internet domain that has been considered by the experts and activists in ICT area inside and outside.

PR of the Ministry of ICT – Dr. Reza Taghipour, in the opening ceremony of the fifth International Telecom Symposium said:" Some phenomena has been produced with peaceful purposes initially, such as Internet, but it has been facing a black spot and caused to naming the year 2009 as the year of 'protecting children against Internet damages' by ITU ".
"We should have some names for protecting the human and family against internet damages for the future years because today, clean Internet is one of the main concerns in ICT domain", he continued.
He emphasized:" Clean Internet should be considered as a serious idea and should distance from unhealthy business".
Dr. Reza Taghipour pointed that Internet strategies should created the significant headlines for cleaning cyberspace in order to see IT role in the societies more and more and so that clean Internet idea would be discussed in this field.
"Business growth in this area is clean, peaceful and friendly, so the managers should create a specific headline to remove the black spot and then see ICT significant role in societies' development", he emphasized.
Minister of ICT said that a software motion and scientific leap has been occurred in our country and added it would lighted up the world in the near future but unfortunately we had observed some improper behaviors and assassinations from Islam enemies.
He pointed to different aspects of ICT that contain scientists, professionals, students, researchers and ICT industry owners and emphasized: "Today we need more attention toward the strategic and management aspects of ICT".
He expressed that the global statistics announced the number of scientific and research articles as well as the high ranks obtained by Iranian scientists and specialists and said:" We should pay to the strategic and management aspects of ICT more than before".
Minister of ICT by referring to the bilateral role of ICT in economic and industrial development of the country said:" this domain can have a particular effect on all aspects of the communities' development".
He pointed that IST conference had succeeded in its aims and emphasized: "we have suggested to change IST to ICT by keeping its aspects and expanses because of it's necessity in all sections, although it has been also pointed to IT subject on the headlines of the conference".
"Today, our country has been passing from an old to a new generation of telecommunication, so its necessary to pay attention to the operational aspects of the conferences and symposiums in order to use them in our society", Dr. Taghipour said.
Minister of ICT said:" we have achieved supercomputers and information processing as well as artificial intelligence in the recent years".
At the end, he said:" we hope to see more success and prosperity in IT section after final approving the fifth development plan, thus the business domain will be expanded."
According to the report, Dr. Akhavan, Head of ITRC in the conference said:" Holding the conferences and symposiums was a scientific movement and we have decided to call for ITRC research projects at the same time in order to operate the projects but it did not occurred and it is supposed to call for the projects generally during the next three weeks".
He pointed to the agreements that have been signed with 10 national universities for one-year scholarship and continued:" seven of these universities are located in Tehran and three of them in the other cities and the one year – scholarship will be granted to the students by this center based on the agreement, therefore, the students will conduct one of the provided projects in this field with one of the professors' leading and receive some money, monthly".
