PR of the ministry of ICT- the meeting has been started this morning in Macao with presence of senior telecom managers from the member's countries and senior managers of the ministry of ICT, TIC and CRA.
Ali Eftekhari, General Director of International affairs, attended in the meeting as the representative of the Ministry and said: So far, the representative of our country has been selected as vice-chairman of the Committee, in three consecutive two-year periods.
Providing the specialized committee of subset (APT) and holding those during the past year is the major axes of the summit.
"According to the report, the financial and administrative performance of Asia Pacific Telecom (APT) during the past year has been reviewed and also the plans of the member states for next year will be developed in the content committee by forming two Finance - Administrative as well as the Content Committees", he said.
He added: "Determining the head of the summit is the other program of two-years meeting and since Iran has undertaken the responsibility during the last period so the members have agreed to provide this opportunity for other counties in order to be more active in this field".
It should be mentioned that Iran has hosted the thirty-third meeting in Tehran last year.
