Motion in the field of ICT and its development in education is a fundamental movement that must be faster.

PR of the Ministry of ICT – Dr. Reza Taghipour in a joint meeting of Ministry of ICT and Education said: "Ministry of ICT has defined some great projects in order to create the necessary infrastructure".
"On this basis, we hope that separating intranet from internet networks will be executed till the end of the current year due to we can provide intranet network for the school's connection", he added.
He noted that at the same time and parallel to this project, making the necessary capacity will be created in infrastructure network and this network capacity will be increased significantly.
Dr. Reza Taghipour referred to the national information network project as another project of Ministry of ICT and added: "According to this project fiber optic will be put in homes and it will be done priority for schools".
"According to the schedule the executive work of this project will be begun this year and also it will be implemented", He continued.
Minister of ICT pointed to the "content" as a national general problem and said: "So far, it has been more tended to equip and connect the schools to the network, but it hasn't done any serious work on the content produce".
"The real result of all efforts will be specified by implementing the content on the networks so the authorities can observe the practical result", he emphasized.
Dr. Reza Taghipour stated that the cost in ICT area will be considered an investment and said:" Using ICT area in long term can cause national cost-saving and solving the various problems such as traffic".
He pointed to the communication and providing the needed infrastructure between the neighboring countries and noted: "Ministry of Education can provide its content production by using this infrastructure in order to implement e-learning for the region countries such as Afghanistan".
A report of the last status of 100 thousand school connection to the national Internet network has been provided by ITC of Iran in the meeting, according to this report.
Saeed Mahdiun, CEO of ITC of Iran referred to the experience of five thousand school connection to the network in 87 (solar years) and said: "It was supposed to connect 100 thousand schools to the national internet network during three phases by implementing this project successfully and based on the MOU that has been signed between ministries of education and ICT at the end of 87 (solar year)".
Mohebali, the project executor by referring to the executive activities in the first phase said:" Implementing the agreed sextuple axes in the first phase is in the final stage and it will be operated soon".
Assadi, Deputy of supporting and IT in the ministry of education, has provided a report of activities performed in the ministry of education during the past eight months in the field of ICT.
