PR of the Ministry of ICT– Mohammad Royanian, head of management staff of transportation and fuel said: “During last four years so many useful efforts have been done by Ministry of ICT in this area”.
“Therefore these offices have established and exploited in more than 9 thousand and 600 villages and more than six thousand urban points”, he added.
He pointed that establishing of ICT Offices was started in ninth government and it has had a good progress in terms of quantity.
Head of management staff of transportation and fuel continued: “Since the executive organizations have no proper connection with them and serving has not been executed well in these offices, those are far from the desired point in term of quality”.
He emphasized that their income is not good for the private sector’s investors so the private sector is not encourage to invest in this area.
Mohammad Royanian referred to social justice and developing of these offices and said: “In the future ICT Offices should be introduced as e-government bases in the society to offer some equal opportunities for all people by this way”.
He pointed: “The other ICT Offices’ benefit are traffic reduction, fuel consume reduction and traffic accident reduction which are the result of reducing waste intercity trips”.
Head of management staff of transportation and fuel talked about the role of Ministry of ICT in the past and future and explained: “We believe that because of the past efforts of the ministry it can have a main role in their blossoming, dynamism and strengthening”.
He said that all the e-service providers should act under the name of ICT offices in the future so in the national group work of the offices all kind of services which should be provided electronically are going to define and will be announced according to their priority very soon.
