Benefits of deposits for permanent mobile and fixed phones includes: using of lower call tariffs up to 20 percent, credit of call up to the deposit and using international roaming without any new deposit.
The line of subscribers, whose deposits remain in TCI, wouldn't be cut if they were debtor.
According to this report if the subscribers can not or don't want to use their fixed phone or mobile for any reason they can go to TCI Customer Services to deliver their SIM card or fixed line and receive their deposit.
Of course the deposits will be paied to the subscribers after reducing the tax, installation costs and the government's share. For example, people who have purchased their mobile 440 thousand Rials, they will receive 288 thousand Rials as their deposit in TCI.
It's mentionable that Dr. Taghipour, Minister of ICT, has pointed to this matter in an interview with the reporters in the cabinet meeting last day but unfortunately it was released incompletely.
