According to ICT Ministry’s Public Relation center, these documents and agreements were signed by high-ranking officials of both parties, in presence of Dr. Hassan Rouhani, the President of I.R. of Iran, and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, President of the Republic of Turkmenistan.
The agreement letter regarding postal cooperation was signed by Iranian ICT Minister and the Communication Minister of Turkmenistan.
The Iranian Minister of Health and Medical Education (MOHME), and Turkmenistan’s Health Minister also signed an agreement in regard to health care and medical cooperation.
There were also other documents and MOU’s signed such as: An agreement for cooperating in construction of Marv-Sarakhs Power Transmission Line signed by Iranian Power Minister and Turkmenistan’s Minister of Energy; agreement signed for cooperating in the field of sports between the Iranian Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and the State Sports Organization of Turkmenistan; agreement letter for cooperating in construction of Ashgabat-Turkmenabat roadway, another agreement for bilateral cooperation in the field of road and transport and urban development by the Minister of Road and Urban Development of Iran and the Turkmenistan State Institution Turkmen Avtoyollari, and letter of agreement in regard to railway transport signed between the Managing Director of Iran Railroad Company and Turkmenistan’s Railroad Minister.
During this ceremony, further documents were signed in the Standard area by the President of Institute of Standards and Industrial Research of Iran and head of Turkmen Standard’s state organization; the IRIB Deputy of External Services also signed a letter of agreement regarding cooperation in TV programs with the head of the state-run TV organization of Turkmenistan.
